I have joined a Weaving Guild and an Embroidery Guild since moving to New Mexico. We moved to Albuquerque (ABQ) NM in December of 2024. What a change from Seattle, WA. We really desired more sunshine and warmth in our lives, so when my husband retired, we headed here. What a perfect place for us! Since 2025 to the present (May 2026) I have had weavings in 4 Exhibits and submitted a poem for publication in a brand new magazine. This is truly the "Land of Enchantment" and we are loving living here.

Exhibits:

1) October 2025--Gallery: Roots 2.0 – Mycelium, Mushrooms, & Friends Open Space Visitor Center Albuquerque, NM (1 piece)

2) February 6-March 8, 2026--Celebrating Community, A Handiwork 2026 Exhibit at Fiber Arts on 4th, Albuquerque, NM (2 pieces)

3) February 6-February 27, 2026--Art the Rich at Old Walls Gallery Albuquerque, NM (1 piece)

4) May 1-June 14, 2026--Banned: Words, Books, People at St. Michael's Gallery Albuquerque, NM (1 piece)

Publication: Horizon Review - "White, Wild, Horses" poem. Debut of magazine April 26, 2026.

So, I will continue to create and hopefully exhibit some more!!
