I have been appalled by the banning of books and censuring of libraries and librarians. I decided to make my own statement about this. I chose to make a banner out of woven cloth with embroidered words: Read ALL the BOOKS and added scrabble tiles to say: NO BANNED next to Books. I have included handmade mini books of some of the banned books from recent history: Holy Bible, Huckleberry Finn, To Kill a Mockingbird and 1984.
